Photovoltaic DC Cable
Solar Cable (PV1-F / H1Z2Z2-K)
UV-resistant, halogen-free DC solar cable for photovoltaic string connections and combiner boxes
PV1-F / H1Z2Z2-K photovoltaic cable is designed for DC connections between solar panels, string combiner boxes and inverters. The published factory range uses cross-linked, halogen-free insulation and includes rated-voltage designations up to 1.5 kV DC and 1.8 kV DC; confirm the exact designation and standard for the order.
Solar Cable (PV1-F / H1Z2Z2-K) supply scope
This parent page covers the published PV1-F / H1Z2Z2-K solar-cable range. The linked 6 mm² page is reserved for enquiries that specify the factory's published 1×6.0 mm² construction; mixed-size or other-size enquiries remain on this range page.
The stored SGS material is an order-specific witness record for a 4 mm² order. It is not evidence that every size on this page carries SGS, TÜV, UL or any other blanket product certification. State the applicable product standard, marking and required inspection or conformity documents in the RFQ so the factory can confirm them for the exact construction and order.

PV1-F / H1Z2Z2-K — Official Range, 1.5 mm² to 120 mm² Single Core
Source: Huanghe Cables official product data, huanghecables.com/solar-cable.html — values as published
Published range runs wider and reads slightly differently from the table above (for example 2.5 mm²: 8.21 Ω/km and 41 A here, against 7.98 Ω/km and 36 A above). Both are reproduced as supplied rather than reconciled — confirm which figures apply to your build when you order. One cell to check before ordering: the 95 mm² strand diameter is published as 1349/.030±0.008, which does not sit with the 0.30 mm strand used on every neighbouring row. It is reproduced exactly as published rather than corrected — ask us to confirm it.

Frequently asked questions about Solar Cable (PV1-F / H1Z2Z2-K)
Q.What is the difference between PV1-F and H1Z2Z2-K?
PV1-F is an older photovoltaic-cable designation, while H1Z2Z2-K is the harmonized designation used with EN 50618. State the required designation, standard and cable marking in the RFQ so the factory can confirm the exact order construction.
Q.Is your solar cable TUV certified?
Do not assume one certificate covers the complete size range. State the required standard, marking and certificate in the RFQ; the factory will confirm the documents applicable to the exact construction and order. The stored SGS witness record relates to a 4 mm² order only and is not a blanket PV1-F certificate.
Q.What is the expected lifespan of solar cable?
Service life depends on the selected construction, temperature, UV exposure, routing and installation quality. State the required product standard and environmental conditions so the factory can confirm the applicable build; this page does not publish an unsupported blanket service-life figure.
Q.Can I use regular power cable instead of solar cable?
Use the cable type and standard specified by the project designer. Photovoltaic cable data includes DC-voltage, weathering and material requirements that must be checked for the installation; this product page does not replace the project cable-selection calculation.
Q.Why is tinned copper used instead of bare copper?
The published tinned-copper construction provides a corrosion-resistant conductor surface for photovoltaic terminations. Confirm conductor material and connector compatibility against the project specification.
Q.What colours are available?
Standard: Black (negative) and Red (positive). Blue also available for certain system configurations. Custom colours on request for large orders.
